Transitional Housing
Our Transitional Housing is located in the urban area of the municipality of Restrepo in the department of Meta.
This home of the religious Sisters Daughters of the Mother of God was adapted to create a space for the refuge and protection of boys, girls, and adolescents from the municipality of Restrepo that are victims of abuse, domestic violence or other circumstances that have caused the local Family Commissary to take necessary measures of protection that will guarantee the physical and emotional well being of children and adolescents, as well as women victims of physical and psychological abuse from their spouse
It is called a transitional housing because it is the place where they are for a period of 8 to 20 days while the competent authorities take the appropriate steps to take measures to restore their rights. In this space of time we provide housing, food, a complete garment, grooming kit, spiritual accompaniment, and recreational and recreational activities. These activities and the permanence of these little people are accompanied by the religious Daughters of the Mother of God. The modality home step is exercised in agreement with the municipal administration, with the support of the family commissioner, childhood police and prosecution.
